Qualification overview

This qualification reflects the role of community services workers involved in the delivery, management and coordination of person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities. Workers are required to apply theoretical frameworks to their work, use a high level of decision making and problem solving skills and apply sound ethical practices.

Getting in

Entry requirements

  1. 1Certificate IV in Community Services or equivalent, or 2 years' relevant industry experience
  2. 2Must be 18 years of age or older
  3. 3Current police check and working with children check
  4. 4IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent
  5. 5Complete ALIT LLN assessment and achieve ACSF Level 4 or higher
