Qualification overview

This qualification reflects the role of support workers who complete specialised tasks and functions in disability services in a range of contexts. Workers provide support to people with disability within a supported independent living arrangement, community access programs, or day programs.

Entry requirements

  1. 1Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
  2. 2Must be 18 years of age or older
  3. 3Current police check and working with children check
  4. 4IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent
  5. 5Complete ALIT LLN assessment and achieve ACSF Level 3 or higher
