Become an agent
Before Applying
Before making an application, you must ensure that you understand your obligations to be compliant with:
- Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act) and National Code 2018
- National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018
- Australian International Education and Training Agent Code of Ethics
It's also recommended that you visit the Department of Home Affairs and Department of Education websites.
Communication
It is a requirement of the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) that the details of education agents are published on our website and entered into the Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS). Non-compliance with these obligations is a strict liability offence.
We will use your business phone, address and email to advise receipt of applications and for urgent notifications. Please keep your business contact details updated at all times — the College will not be responsible for any delay caused by contact changes without proper notification.
What happens next
Once we have conducted reference checks and the application is approved, we will send you an agency agreement to sign. Upon return, you will receive a Partnership Certificate evidencing your registration.
Submit your completed application form with all required documentation.
ALIT conducts reference checks — standard processing takes up to two weeks.
If approved, sign the agency agreement and receive your Partnership Certificate.
